This event was cool. Hard to describe if you have never been to one before or never watched it on TV. I guess the best way to describe some of the races are human NASCAR. Lots of high speed action and crashes. One event called the “Madison” is like a wrestling tag team event. Two riders to a team and they grab each other to sling shot the other forward. On some of the sprinting events the riders can reach speeds of 47 mph. These guys are huge too. Check out the pictures and look at Chris Hoy (sprint champion and Keirin Champion). His quads are bigger round then most people’s bodies.
