The Feldman Shirt as it has become to be known started as a joke back in 2004. Yuille, Scott, JD, Feldman, and myself were down in South Padre for a weekend and Feldman saw a liquor store called Feldman’s Liquor. For some reason he was fascinated by the sign and store. So much so he felt the need to take a picture and go in to talk with the owner. To Feldman’s disappointment the owner wasn’t “Feldman,” but had bought the store and never changed the name.

A whole year passed before “Feldman’s Liquor’s” was ever talked about again. Then in 2005, the day before Doug’s wedding, we were all at a bar in Boston reminiscing about old times and the story came up again. At that point Feldman and myself made a “gentlemen’s agreement”. If I made him a shirt with the picture of the Feldman’s Liquor sign on it, he would get pictures of him wearing it around famous New York City landmarks. Since it was a formal binding agreement we decided to toast our glasses to it and take a picture..... it was a gentlemen’s agreement after all.
A few months later I got around to making the shirt. As a joke I also included in the bottom of the shirt a picture of Yuille putting sunscreen on Feldman’s back.

And with that I sent the shirt to Feldman. Needless to say he didn’t find it as amusing as I did and refused to wear it out in public. He said something along the lines of “I would have worn the shirt out if it was normal, but not if it is Brokeback Mountain style.” In the end, Feldman did take a picture of himself in the shirt, but it was in his own apartment.
Well I figured I would take it one step further and make a shirt of Feldman wearing the shirt and wear it around Chicago when I visited all the Michigan gang for New Year’s. So now here is where all of you come into the equation. I need you to vote for the next Feldman shirt, which I am going to mail to Feldman and have him take a picture of himself wearing the Donavan wearing the Feldman shirt.
