Tarbert Sailing Regatta 2008

It is spring time and that means another Tarbert sailing Regatta. This year there were 11 boats and close to 90 people. We were with a new crew skippered by two of Scotland’s finest sailors, Alan and Elsbeth. We were a young boat, but that didn’t stop us from making a good showing. We weren’t too serious with our sailing so the fact we finished middle of the pack was good.... this was even after our rudder broken during high winds and a storm.

As always with Tarbert there was lots of drinking... maybe more then sailing. For our theme this year our boat was French... look at the pictures, you’ll understand.
