Up here in Aberdeen we are actually farther north then Moscow so we get lots of sun in the summer (when it isn’t raining). I figured that would be a good enough reason to have a bonfire and barbecue on the summer solstice. In true Aberdeen style the weather was perfect all day and right around 10pm it started to rain. We tried our best to not let the weather get us down by donning umbrellas as we huddled around the bonfire, but by 11pm we had to retreat indoors. At 3am (sunrise) we made our way back outside for a champaign toast!!
In case you don’t know what the Solstice is I’ve recruited my good friend Dave Attell to explain.... watch the video.
